Enez Bihan means “Small Island” in Breton.  It refers to an island named Ebihens (or Hébiens), just off the coast of the Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer peninsula.  The island is designated an archipelago for an unknown reason, as there is only one island.  It may be that some other rocks protrude at low tide.  It is located in Brittany’s Côtes-d’Armor department (Bretagne).  The island is private, but visitors are tolerated and its bay is a well-known sail boat anchor point.
